Bezoekerscentrum Nunspeet
Nunspeet Visitor Centre, centrally located at the gateway to the Veluwe, next to Outdoor Centre Nunspeet.
This visitor centre houses an extensive exhibition about the origins of the Veluwe, its landscape and nature. The largest wild boar in the Netherlands is a spectacular sight. You will also find a nature exhibition about the Veluwe of yesteryear, a small cinema, a shop and a souvenir shop. Especially for children, there is a gnome hut and a gnome trail. For slightly older children, there is the assistant forest ranger trail. This is also the starting point for many walking routes.
A walking route starts at the Nunspeet Visitor Centre, which connects to various other routes in the Nunspeet forest. There are several day campsites and playgrounds in the area where children can romp around to their heart's content.
The Nunspeet Visitor Centre is wheelchair accessible. An AVO wheelchair is also available. Outside, there is a 1.7 km wheelchair path that leads through a varied forest area. There are four benches along the route.
There are also changing exhibitions at the Nunspeet Visitor Centre throughout the year.
All kinds of activities for young and old are organised around the Nunspeet Visitor Centre throughout the year. It is open every day during the holidays.
