Noord-Veluws Art Museum
Would you like to learn more about the artists who lived here during your stay in our municipality? Then a visit to the Noord-Veluws Museum in Nunspeet is definitely worth it! An exclusive museum with grand exhibitions and an extensive permanent collection of paintings by artists who attracted national and international attention between 1890 and 1950. The works of art show you the landscape and rural life on the northern Veluwe in all its glory. The different styles, intense colours and perfect reproduction will amaze you! Historical Museum Elspeet
The Historical Museum Elspeet is an informative museum that highlights aspects of Elspeet’s history. In a number of respects, this history is unique, and in many respects this past is also typical for developments on the Veluwe. In addition to the annual temporary exhibition(s), there are permanent exhibitions on six themes that are characteristic of Elspeet. These are: Archeology, Art(ists) in Elspeet, Sheep and shepherds, Elspeet church village, Intensive livestock farming and Traditional costume.
Exhibitions
In addition to the Noord-Veluws Art Museum, there are a number of places where very varied exhibitions can be seen. For example, there is almost always a fascinating art exhibition to be seen in Veluvine, as well as in the Vrije Academie during the summer months. But don’t forget the pop-up exhibitions of the Kunstkring and the exhibition about the Hidden Village in the Vossenberg in Vierhouten! In addition, there are changing short exhibitions.
Art route
That the municipality of Nunspeet still breathes art today becomes clear when you discover the work of the various artists. Painting, Woodworking, Goldsmithing and jewelry design, Textile processing, Paper art, Ceramics… Many artists are gathered in the art circle Noord-West Veluwe. The members can participate in the annual art route where they open their studio or gallery to the public. A large part of the participating artists come from the municipality of Nunspeet. Art market Nunspeet
The annual Kunstmarkt Nunspeet event takes place on the Markt in Nunspeet. Here you can get to know about 25 artists, both from Nunspeet and the rest of the country. They show a varied range from many disciplines. You will find paintings, ceramics, jewelry, glass techniques and graphic work. They present and sell their work here. Are you looking for a work of art or are you just curious about creativity? Then this art market is worth a visit!
