Bezoekerscentrum Nunspeet

Nunspeet Visitor Centre, centrally located at the Poort van de Veluwe, next to the Nunspeet Outdoor Centre.

This visitor centre houses an extensive exhibition on the origins of the Veluwe, its landscape and nature. A spectacular sight is the largest wild boar in the Netherlands. You’ll also find a nature exhibition about the Veluwe of yesteryear, a shop and a souvenir shop. Children can complete a giant jigsaw puzzle, play games or do some drawing in the children’s corner. They can also follow the fun gnome trail. For slightly older children, there is the junior forest ranger trail. This is also the starting point for many walking routes.

A walking route starts at the Nunspeet Visitor Centre, which links up with various other routes in the Nunspeet Forest. In the surrounding area, there are several day campsites and play areas where children can run about to their heart’s content.

The Nunspeet Visitor Centre is fully accessible to wheelchair users. An AVO wheelchair is also available. Outside, there is a 1.7 km wheelchair path that winds through a varied woodland area. There are four benches along the route.

There are also changing exhibitions at the Nunspeet Visitor Centre throughout the year.

All sorts of activities for young and old are organised around the Nunspeet Visitor Centre all year round. It is open every day during the school holidays.
